Job description 

The position will be at the division of applied physical chemistry in the group of analytical chemistry.

The work will be performed within the frame of the EU financed project iConsensus, which in its whole encompass a platform for analysis and control of cultivation processes for biopharmaceutical production. The research project concerning the present position regards development and optimization of capillary electrophoresis techniques and methods for specific analytes or groups of components. Moreover, transfer and adaption of methods developed for capillary based system to chip based systems are included. Both theoretical and practical work will occur but emphasis will be on the experimental execution. Collaboration with other participants within iConsensus will be an important component. The starting date is open for discussion but preferably the position will be appointed as soon as possible.


Applicants should have a PhD degree not older than three years in analytical chemistry with focus on bioanalysis. Experience of capillary electrophoretic and chip based analysis is a prerequisite. Proficiency in sample handling and pretreatment of bio-related substances is an advantage. Good collaboration capabilities and independence are of highest importance. Good skills in oral and written communication in English are necessary.
